Robert Lee Ford is an active Senior Pastor and Founder of Greater Faithway Cathedral which is now Greater Faith Transition Church Inc. at 670 Onanadaga Ave. Ypsilanti, Mi. 48197.
Pastor R.L. Ford is the oldest son and the third of seven children of Robert L. Ford and Susie May Wells and the grand son of the late Bishop Robert L. Ford of Chicago. Pastor Ford is married to Dorothy Jean Ford for fifty five years, they have seven beautiful children, twenty six grandchildren, and four great grand. They both received salvation and the Holy Ghost in 1973 at Messiah Tem​ple under the leadership of the late Pastor Jesse Ross of Ypsilanti, Mi.
Pastor Ford preached his first sermon in 1975 and was licensed as a Minister in 1981 under the jurisdiction of the late Bishop R. Paddock, who was the Presiding Bishop of P.A.W. Pentecostal Assemblies of the World at the time. After serving from 1973 to 1983 Pastor Ford assisted Pastor Henry Healey of Christian Life Center for seven years faithfully.

In March 1988 Greater Faithway Cathedral was founded and incorporated, through much fasting and praying in 1990 God instructed Pastor Ford to the work of full time pastoring, retiring from General Motors after twenty three years of service. After seventeen years of service and in 2004 G.A.P. God's Anointed Pastors was incorporated and founded.
After serving Greater Faithway Cathedral for 20 years; On March 29th, 2009 in the year of our Lord, Pastor Ford was ordained an Apostle of New Break Through, Association of Churches and Ministries Inc. by Apostle Donald Coleman.
Apostle Ford favorite scripture is Psalms:1-1 - Blessed, Happy Fortunate, Prosperous, and Enviable, is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly.
